Great Blanket

The Vellux blanket is great. I have purchased this blanket in there past and it is a favorite. it is a perfect year around blanket, cozy in the inter and just right during the other seasons. I definitely recommend it.

Poor manufacturing quality control

We have been enjoying Vellux blankets for many years, but it seems the quality or quality control is now lacking. We first bought the blanket from a different vendor. It had several small ares of missing fibers where the backing was exposed. I returned that blanket and bought the same product from Macy’s. We encountered the same condition, but not in as many areas. We kept the blanket but disappointed that the quality is not as in the past.

Flawed.

I received this blanket with a tear in it when I unpacked it. It should be replaced.

Received today, washed and dried-pulled outta the dryer and the blanket has a tear in it and is coming apart! JUNK! Macys DO BETTER

Vellux blankets

Happy to find the original Vellux blankets at Macys. Great sale price, and the product is just like the ones I bought 20 years ago. They offer just the right amount of warmth for me. Glad to store away the more modern furry blankets that are either too hot or too cold. It must be the very thin layer of foam between the outer layers that make them just right .....
