Not a fan favorite in this house

My wife felt that it smelled harsh, to strong and had a chemical smell to it. I thought that it smelled okay. It seemed to have a Sandlewood smell to it.

Warm, masculine, and long lasting with just the right amount of sweetness

Rabanne Phantom Parfum has a warm, smooth, scent that feels masculine without being overpowering. It starts off very bold, but once it settles on the skin it becomes darker, sweeter, and really easy to wear. The projection is noticeable in the first few hours and I was impressed with the longevity. I could still smell it on myself hours later. I like this scent for the cooler fall and winter months or an evening out. Overall it smells modern, confident, and very mature.

Interesting but nothing groundbreaking

You get an initial blast of sweetness, I can also smell the lavender in the background but nothing too detailed going on. As it dries down the vanilla becomes more refined. It’s not a cloying sweetness and is actually quite nice. Unfortunately doesn’t project on my skin and longevity is also lacking for a parfum. The dry down seems to become slightly fresher but overall still sweet.
