This is a more modern and vanilla version of the classic Shalimar perfume! While it definitely has the original Shalimar DNA, the animalistic aspects have definitely been toned down and the vanilla amped up. Longevity is pretty good with it lasting about 6 to 8 hours before becoming a skin scent. I really enjoy that it is not your common garden variety fruity floral!

This bottle is so exquisite, so beautifully packaged, it looks expensive. The scent itself caught me a little off guard, at the first note, it reminds me of ladies that would wear OG Chanel. This is more suitable for winter time because it is a little heavier and the scent is long lasting.

It’s a nice perfume
I love trying out new perfumes- I love my Standard everyday perfume but I’m always open to a new perfume taking over. So I was excited to receive this perfume. The bottle is super cute and it sprays nicely. I feel the perfume is a good strength and it lasts all day. My only minor issue with this perfume, and the only reason I marked it down one star, is that it is advertised as a intense vanilla perfume and the vanilla notes don’t come out to me at all. It’s heavy on the Iris, which isn’t a bad thing. I was just expecting it to be more sweet smelling than it ended up being. It’s a nice perfume though that i would recommend if you are interested in an iris perfume.

This has a very elegant scent perfext for an older woman! It absorbs into the skin locking in that amazing scent!! You can still smell it on my clothes days later!

So as a fragrance lover 😍 I was so excited to be able to review Guerlain’s Shalimar! I had seen so many videos of it being a grown and sexy vanilla and let me tell you it did not disappoint in the slightest! Think of like a dark date night vanilla.. This is that fragrance you put on after slipping on a black dress. It’s a mood if that makes sense, but it still keeps that Guerlain signature DNA.. Overall, I really adore this fragrance and highly recommend it as a good date night perfume with really good longevity!

Exquisite packaging and shape, I gave this a 3 star which is good because you don’t love it at initial spray but after 2 hours it gives off Arabian night. This product scent was a strong powdery one, incense and it gives off that strong vintage vibe. I think it has value in its name, the shape of the bottle but for usability for would be low, as you would have to let it breathe as to not overwhelm people. I think it’s an all day perfume and a little goes a long way.

Warm and calming scent!
I really like this fragrance. At first, it remind me of oud with a warm , slightly smoky scent. After a while , it becomes softer with a light powdery note. It is a little strong at first but then settles down nicely. The scent feel very calm and peaceful to me. It lasts around 6 hours on my skin which is pretty good. The bottle is very beautiful and convenient to carry around.
