Shoes flimsy and tight

The shoes were flimsy and tight. I had my shoe size professionally measured and was told I was an eight and a half. When I asked Macy's shoe department to measure my foot I was told that it was a nine. I had several pairs of shoes at home size 9 and they were too large after a while so that's why I had my foot remeasured to an 8 and 1/2. This shoe is very uncomfortable. I wasted my money.
