I first saw these shows in July. loved them then. but was not willing to pay full price. soon...25% off, last week 50% off. and since I had a coupon I got another approx 25% off. what a steal. i got them yesterday. and I love them as much as I thought I would. the lug sole is great. and Timberland shoes are keepers.

Poor buckle quality

I should have double checked before purchasing because I’m very disappointed that the buckle is elastic. Not only will it eventually wear and tear, this makes the shoes especially loose and not secure. I was expecting the buckle to be all leather so that it lasts a long time as I expect timberland products to do. This shoe feels low quality. Even when tightly buckled, the shoe slips significantly on the heel because the buckle doesn’t hold it in place. Because I got them on sale, I think I’ll keep them and take them to a shoe repair place to replace the buckle in the long term. As for the length of the shoe size, I typically wear a 6.5-7. I got a size 7 and these feel short/small! So they feel too big and too small at the same time.

This is such a lovely shoes. Pairs well with jeans. I am a size 8.5 but I would usually buy a size 9 for that extra space. This pair is just the right comfortable size at 8.5 regular for my feet.
