Great Support

The Flat Foundation is great support for the TempurPedic. We got the split foundation to navigate narrow stairs in an old house. My only regret is that I opted for the 5" instead of the 9". My last mattress felt like it sat way too high but the TempurPedic is a much more stream-lined mattress without a lot of fluff and bulk so the whole set up sits considerably lower. The 9" would have been a better fit but the 5" is fine for now. I have old dogs and this makes it easier for them to navigate the height of the bed. I do wish they offered a while version as the dark charcoal color is visible through my white linen bed skirt.

My dog can jump on the bed again

We have used a standard Tempur Pedic foundation for years. As the mattresses got thicker, our bed got taller and the little dog got older. She needed help into the bed every night. I ordered this ultra low profile foundation to help the problem. It is 4 inches lower than the last one and it even makes the room look larger. Little Goldie can jump up just fine now and it is easier for us to get in and out of. Wish I would have done this sooner.

Not as solid as I hoped

For the money I expected a rock solid box spring with a solid wood top with zero flex. This aint that. Use plywood.
