Not for an adult or teen

I am 6 months pregnant and I purchased this bed because I needed a shorter headboard. Being that it needs assembly, my husband and I hired a handyman to assemble the bed. This took over 3 hours with two men working together. Upon completion the bed looks like it’s for a child or extremely small person. The assembled height is way below the windows and closet door handles! I cannot get in and out of the bed pregnant due to the low height. I have reached out to the company directly for a refund as well as Macy’s customer service. It’s a shame because the material is actually really nice quality it just doesn’t make sense for an adult!
