- In order to further improve image quality, the lens features Sony s Nano anti-reflective coating that reduces the amount of light that s reflected by the lens and helps reduce lens flare and image ghosting.
- This lens also has a constant f/2.8 maximum aperture that allows you to more easily maintain exposure settings while changing the zoom range.
- Shooting in low-light situations is always challenging, but the lens constant f/2.8 maximum aperture ensures that you ll get great looking pictures in any light and at any zoom range.
- You won t have to worry about readjusting exposure settings, either, as this lens maintains its settings as you zoom in and out.

Good all-around
I agonized, at the time, in getting Sony's GM lens. This seemed to be a lens with great optics. I have used it for some time. My only beef is that Sony, when the new/er 24-70 f2.8 II was released, there was no contact to incentivize and help purchase the newer model. That would have been SO helpful as I cannot turn around and simply buy another.

Great lens
I bought this lens for my Sony A7Riv and glad I did. This lens is expensive, but if you want a perfect walk-around street lens, this is it. It is on my A7Riv 80% of the time. Colors are natural, distortion minimal and the f2.8 is handy at dusk and after dark. Like all premium 24-70 lenses, it is heavy, but you expect that. Strongly recommend this lens.
