It attaches to a magnetic dock that hangs at the side of your rectangular or slim liner rim simplehuman trash can or you can detach it for use on your kitchen counter. The soft-seal lid allows food scraps to breathe, keeping odor under control and pests away. The plastic inner bucket is removable so it's easy to dump out scraps or clean. The caddy's stainless steel surface is protected by an invisible fingerprint-resistance coating that is also infused with Agion, an EPA-registered disinfectant that inhibits the growth of bacteria, fungi, mold and mildew. A 30-pack of code Z custom fit disposable liners are included, the liners fit the caddy perfectly and can be thrown out along with your food scraps since they decompose fully.

Excellent Compost Caddy

I bought this caddy to replace a container that had no lid, no bag, and looked bad. This stainless caddy complements all my kitchen appliances, contains food waste hygienically, and controls odor. The custom-fit liners make disposal clean and easy. Also, its size and shape occupy minimal counter space. The lid lifts up easily, requiring no other moving parts to maintain. It cleans beautifully, too. Highly recommended.

No serial number provided

Told I am not able to register this product. Nice dark black color. Opens and closes well. Bag fit well. Hooks onto the side of the trash can. Not happy I can not register this. I might return it. I want the full warrenty which is in the high price.

What a useful item!

As usual with Simplehuman, this is engineered with precision: the magnetized lid that easily stays open, the convenient bin, the solid way it attaches to my trash bin. Had I realized what an improvement this would be over my countertop container, I would have bought this sooner. Highly recommend.

Compost solution

This is a great compost bin for the kitchen. It attaches onto the trash can, even though I have an older model of Simple Human recycle/trash can. It won’t go on the side of mine, but it will hook right on the front. Works for me.
