Great for recycling
If you have more recycling than trash, this is the perfect can

Love
I love this can. Best can I’ve purchased from simple thus far. I would like to try the new recycler but I’ll wait for a coupon hehe
Customer review from simplehuman.com
Great but needs some tweeks.
Meets all expectations, feels sturdy and bins slide in smoothly. Only niggle is the locking mechanism to hold the lid up feels a bit fragile, against the lid, incase the lid bends? but that could just be me. Would have been even better if it was sensor like other models, but in this design.

Love it!
Small apartment life begs for a dual compartment can. I’ve never been disappointed with a simplehuman product - the name says it all.

Perfect for my needs
Glad that it came in both trash and recycling. Rather have it all in one than 2 separate bins.

The best bin I've bought
This is the second Simplehuman bin I've bought. The first lasted over a decade. Trying to find a slim enough and short enough bin to fit into a specific place in my kitchen was the most difficult part and this bin really looks like it belongs there. I use one part for general waste and the other for food waste and in my household the bags only need to be changed once a week. A nice bonus is that it's easy to wipe clean. Perhaps I'm getting old but I can't stop telling my friends about my new bin.
