Nice quality, beginner’s knife series.

Nice quality, beginner’s knife series. Very respectable. Not the same as Kikuichi higher end knives or even close to Shun’s Figi, Dual Core or the latest Shiranami series. All three far superior and 2 of 3 are in my most prized collection.

A bit brittle. Does not

A bit brittle. Does not stay sharp as long as I had hoped. The Shun pull sharpener is a disappointment. You need to tell regular people how to sharpen these knives. Not everyone is a master of whetstones.

Every tip on every knife

Every tip on every knife is chipped off. Chef's knife cannot durably cut. The blade chipped on that also.

Very Sharp

This is the third knife my son has purchased from this company. He's very happy with them all. During his inauguration of this particular knife he cut his finger. A testament as to how sharp they are.
