Boxy cut, stiff fabric, not attractive on

I was really looking forward to getting this top and wearing it in this hot humid weather. But the design is not attractive. The straps are too wide a part and the cut is too boxy. The fabric is also stiff. So it can easily make a petite XS person look much wider and shapeless. A better cut with darts and zipper would have made this a much cuter top. The trim at the bottom gets lost if worn with the black shorts. It is visible with white linen pants however. The size S and M are almost the same width - may be off by a few mm. This looked much prettier on the website. Despite the great price, it is going back! Better to have items that make us look more attractive, not worse. It doesn’t matter how much we want to like it.
