I do not recommend this bag, for what it costs it is not the quality I expect from Samsonite. The internal fabric is too flimsy; I got a tear on the lining after the first use. I am also a frequent flyer, so I need a sturdy check in bag. After two years, the outside lining is also damaged. I haven't experienced this even on cheaper bags off discount stores. I invested on this bag expecting a long life, as is typical of Samsonite, but this sadly doesn't meet my expectations. Yes, the material is very light, but not sturdy.

Shell deep scratches/Inside Very cheap

My last Samsonite set made about 25 international trips over 10 years to the best and worst international airports, held up until finally wheel broke. SO I bought a new teal Samsonite set - 2 check in +1 carry on. Made my First trip - shell of the check in luggage has deep scratches / grooves on arrival. The inside of new Samsonite is also very disappointing very cheap flimsy zippers, Paper thin zipper covers, the straps do not have buckle clasps but a cheap hook feature. For the price I paid for each piece, quality is a poor. A huge drop in quality which Samsonite is known for and as compared my previous Samsonite set. There are many competitors but Samsonite is lightest in weight. I expect more scratches on my return flight. And I’m travelling to two of the best airports in the world known for treating check in with extreme care.

Best carry-on

Very nice carry-on. I was able to fit all I needed for a two weeks trip. Very easy to handle. Very late.

Don’t let this light weight fool u…it’s tough!

I like that it meets all size requirements for international travel carry-on. Super light and nimble. Don’t let the light feel fool you, it’s tough and can take the beatings of air travel!

Incredible--Love it!

This hardshell suitcase is so light it's unbelievable. I cannot recommend it enough. I gave away my other same-size suitcase which weighed almost 5 lbs. more.
