Highly recommend especially for daily use
It’s perfect! I’m a tea drinker and this is a perfect size to fill, put on the breakfast table to share! Good construction inside and out. Lid is slightly secured with the strainer attached to lid inside. Teapot lids are characteristic for falling into your cup! This somewhat helps prevent that from happening with this lid style.

Disappointing . . .
I bought 2 of these teapots b/c I liked the bright colors - one red and one deep navy blue - and I liked the basic design. But, I've been very disappointed and wish I had used them more before the return period had lapsed. Now, I will be giving them away. First of all, I didn't notice that the website says cleaning this teapot in the dishwasher is not recommended. (Yet the price sticker on the boxes they came in say "Dishwasher and Microwave Safe"!) I haven't tried to clean them in the dishwasher b/c I didn't want to take a chance on harming the glaze. Tea easily stains and I did not like that they need to be hand-washed -- especially since the opening on top, under the lid, is very, very small in diameter -- only 2-3/4" inches! My adult-sized hands, which are @3-1/4" across at my knuckles, do not fit into the teapot to clean it! I would not recommend buying this item unless you have very small hands or have a child who could handwash this teapot for you. Very inconvenient!
