Flatware

Flatware was just what I was looking for. Simple, nice weight - good quality.

Unexpectedly great

These were recommended by Americas Test Kitchen, and they really are great. The weight is nice and balanced and they’re holding up wonderfully. I didn’t think I cared about flatware but these are great.

Oneida Voss Flatware

I ran out of flatware at Christmas so I ordered another two sets of the Oneida Voss flatware service for eight. I like the feel and weight of the handles DK, Walnut.

Very pleased with this set but one caveat

I perseverated for months before deciding on this set. I like the look and the feel of the flatware, they are on the heavy side but feel very comfortable in my hand and the edges of the spoons are nice and smooth. The only problem are the knives. I cannot run them through the dishwasher without getting spots on them. I do have hard water, but am using Cascade Complete pods as well as a rinse agent. I'm careful that the knives didn't touch anything else, but they still had small rust spots and marks where they touched the plastic racks. The rest of the pieces go through the dishwasher and come out beautiful. I now just hand wash the knives.

Oneida Voss stainless wear

I bought it as a gift, not given yet. I can say if the weight of the box is an indication, then each piece should be a good weight. It is a simple, timeless and lovely pattern.
