Does not feel likw Cotton

This shirt says it is 95% cotton on the Macy's web site but has a texture and sheen like a pure synthetic fiber. I thought it may a fabric additive but it did not wash out. I wanted a mostly cotton top and this is not cotton. Very dissapointed and can not return. Also the shirt tag says it is mostly recycled fiber, so not cotton!

On 34th sleeveless stripe top

Nice looking tank top, fits great and quality is good. I bought my usual size in warm sesame on clearance. Wear it with jeans, a skirt or layer it with a blazer.
