Check your watch

I bought this watch for a friend's birthday present, she is obsessed with owls. By all appearances it is a really nice watch and she loved it. The day after I gave it to her she told me the minute and hour hands were just spinning loosely inside the watch. I was going to exchange it for another one when I noticed the return date was a week before. I have since bought another one in hopes it doesn't have the same problem. Check the watch when you receive it.
