MecaleQueen Linen Bed Frame with Height-Adjustable Headboard

Thick mattresses have become the norm, and they often leave a headboard looking short. This queen bed frame solves that with a height-adjustable headboard that rises to match a mattress anywhere from 8 to 14 in thick, keeping the proportions right whether the bed carries a slim foam mattress or a deep pillow top. The headboard is wrapped in breathable linen fabric with quilted detailing, soft to lean against for reading and calm enough in gray to work with changing bedding. Below, ten plywood slats and six additional rubber wood legs build a center-supported platform rated for up to 1300 lbs, a figure that speaks to how thoroughly the frame is braced. Slats attach with hook and loop fasteners, which speeds up assembly and keeps them from shifting later. The 80.5 x 61 in surface fits a queen mattress with no box spring, the 12 in footboard keeps bedding in place, and a 6 in elevated base leaves clearance for a vacuum to reach the floor beneath. Overall dimensions are 84 x 64.5 x 45 in.
