MecaleFolding Wood Tray Table with Removable Serving Tray

Dinner on the patio, appetizers in the den, lemonade on the porch - this tray table makes the trip with you. The top lifts free as a full serving tray with built-in cut-out handles, carrying snacks and drinks from the kitchen in one steady pass, then settling back onto its folding stand to become a composed little side table beside any chair. The tray is solid wood in a slatted design with a splinter-free surface and raised sides that keep glasses from wandering, its 14.5-by-20-inch bed rated to hold up to 55 pounds. Below, an X-shaped solid-wood frame reinforced with crossbars and supportive polyester webbing keeps everything stable at a convenient 27-inch height - right at hand from most armchairs and loungers. When service ends, the frame folds to a slim 3.5 inches and slips behind a door or under a bed, with the tray stacking flat on top. Light assembly readies it the first time after that it moves through the house and yard as fluidly as the entertaining does. For anyone who hosts in more than one room - or one climate - this is the table that keeps up.
