Versatile jacket
The Precip Evo Flex is a very versatile jacket. It’s lightweight enough to be an extra layer, pack able when you don’t need it, and a great rain jacket too! The fit is great. Not too tight that it’s uncomfortable but not too loose that it’s unflattering. If I could only have 1 rain jacket this would be it!! I’m 5’7 and about 155 and I am wearing a size medium. Non restricting
had planned on going hiking and biking in this item testing it out whilst doing high exertion activities. But it has not been cold or rainy since receiving the product. I do like the pit vents and how they can reduce heat and allow sweat to evaporate whilst keeping dry from the elements. I also like how it folds up pretty small just the size of a water bottle. The color is nice as well. I'm a size 6 and the small fit perfectly. I also like how much mobility I have in it and it doesn't feel stiff. Lightweight, Packable Rain Jacket
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. Unfortunately, due to lack of precipitation, I was unable to test the waterproofness of this rain jacket. However I did wear it for two weeks and can review every other aspect. This rain jacket is very lightweight, , has decent stretch, and can pack into its own pocket. I appreciate the waterproof zipper, pit zippers, and adjustable hood features. When I was wearing it (mostly early morning jogs and later afternoon hikes) I discovered the material for the inner lining has a tendency to cling to moist skin. If I was wearing long sleeves it wasn't an issue but when I was wearing short sleeves and started to sweat, the jacket stuck onto me and made me uncomfortably stuffy. Thankfully once I utilized the pit zippers the stuffiness went away. When I didn't want to wear the jacket I would pack it into its pocket for storage. It takes a little effort to get it to fit inside the pocket but it does fit. Even has a loop to hang it from while in compact mode. I would recommend this jacket be used as an outer shell with either layers or a long sleeve underneath. If I could make any changes it would be the material of the inner lining, adding a tether to the inner pocket to make packability easier, and making all the zippers waterproof.

Marmot precip Evo flex jacket is 10/10
I received this jacket in exchange for my honest review. It arrived just in time for the summer storms that began to pop up in North Carolina and during a rainy trip to New York. I loved the way the jacket looked as soon as I unpackaged it. I was surprised at the affordable price point. The light gray color (vapor) is neutral and will go with so many things. I received a women’s extra small and it fit true to size. The hood came in very handy while doing walking outside. The finish on the jacket makes it truly waterproof. I was able to stay truly dry underneath in the pouring rain. For nighttime use there are lots of reflective details. I love that the jacket is packable into its pocket for storage and travel! I would not hesitate to recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a new waterproof option!

Reliable Rain Protection without Restriction!
I put the Marmot PreCip Evo Flex Rain Jacket to the dest during a rainy hike, and It performed well in wet conditions. We had steady rain and a very wet trail, which gave me a great opportunity to see how the jacket would actually perform when I needed it rather than just wearing it casually. The biggest thing I noticed was how comfortable and easy it was to move in. I never felt restricted while walking, and the jacket gave me enough room to move naturally without feeling overly bulky. The hood provided good coverage as well! The pockets were great. I can see this being a jacket I keep with me for hiking, travel, camping, or just rainy everyday activities! Excellence in Details!
The Marmot PreCip Evo Flex Rain Jacket is a 2.5-layer rain jacket, with an outer layer bonded to a waterproof inner layer and a thin protective layer on the inside. I used it both while hiking and as my daily-wear jacket on rainy days. On hikes, I appreciated how easy it was to pack the jacket into its own pocket and how small and compressible it became when packed up, allowing me to easily stuff it into my backpack and pull it out when needed. The taped seams, paired with the adjustable hemcord and Velcro cuffs, gave me some extra security against both rain and wind. It fit a little larger than other size smalls that I own, but I actually appreciated the extra room because it gave me space to add another layer underneath when it got brisker out without feeling overly bulky or restrictive. It also allowed for greater mobility and flexibility, especially when I had to use my arms on more technical parts of the trail. The pit zips were also critical in helping me vent off excess heat during higher-output efforts and more strenuous parts of a hike, helping to balance weather protection with breathability. Overall, I would highly recommend the Marmot PreCip Evo Flex for hiking as well as daily use in light to moderate rain. It packs down small enough to easily bring along just in case, provides plenty of protection when the weather turns, and breathes well enough that I was comfortable continuing to move in it rather than immediately wanting to take it off. Excellent waterproof breathable adventure jacket
The @marmot Pre-Cip Evo Flex features a 2.5 layer NanoPro waterproof/windproof fabric, which is seam-taped to ensure leak-proof protection, and is flexible and breathable. The Pre-Cip Evo Flex has pit zips to regulate temperature, zippered pockets, one of which the jacket packs perfectly in to - I love a good packable jacket! I tend to overdress for running, walking and outdoor activities, and overheat easily, so I’m a huge fan of the pit zips, and the packable pocket allowing me to easily shed a layer and carry it with me. I used this jacket for cooler morning runs, and evening walks, and it was surprisingly breathable, flexible and overall really comfy, and kept me dry in rainy and foggy conditions. The jacket fit true-to-size - I got a large, even though I’m typically a medium, however I tend to size up in jackets to allow for layers, and the large is perfect! This is an excellent option for anyone looking for a great waterproof/windproof, breathable, packable option for all their outdoor adventures. And, the Galapagos Blue color is so pretty, and it comes in several other great color options. I’m looking forward to using this jacket more this fall, and as a layering piece in the winter! Marmot with another solid gear piece for my wardrobe! I love the outer shell texture - soft without that typical plastic-y or swooshy sound from most rain coats. Pit zips are a must for ventilation. I wore this in the summer heat and the jacket was still breathable, but the pit zips were a major plus. The nonwaterproof pocket zippers and single point hood adjustment make this a jacket for lighter rain days, but probably not a full-on monsoon downpour. The Vapor color is a nice contract from the typical black and darker colors that rain jackets are usually made in. I got a women’s Medium size, and am 5’6” with a medium build and the flare in the hips helps with the fit. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
