- HOW TO USE:
- To find your ideal shade, swatch foundation on skin and allow it to dry
- Prep skin with a moisturizer or preferred Step 1 Primer before applying foundation
- For sheer coverage, apply with your fingertips, starting at the center of the face and blending outward
- For medium coverage, apply one pump to the back of the hand or directly onto a brush; start applying in the middle of the face, then blend and stretch the foundation outward until desired coverage is achieved
- For extra coverage, apply one pump to the back of the hand and apply with a damp sponge; lightly tap and stretch foundation onto the face, adding coverage where necessary
- Pro Tip: For an additional blurring effect, finish your look with Ultra HD Loose Finishing Powder; for a 24-hour matte effect, set your look with Ultra HD Matte Setting Powder

My favorite base (stock up now!)
The Make Up For Ever HD Skin Undetectable Longwear Foundation is a phenomenal, true-to-skin formula. It provides an airbrushed, natural matte finish and stays intact through long days. You should grab a backup bottle now while it is on clearance, and prepare to transition to the new Balancing & Perfecting formula. I like the new formula but it’s just not the same.

ABSOLUTE FAVORITE
I have been obsessed with this foundation ever since I started using it! I just ran out of my third bottle and I was shocked to see that it is discontinued! I literally was freaking out. There is a new formula, but I fear it cannot be as good as this. I had so many compliments when wearing this foundation. Not only did it look amazing. It felt amazing too. The shade matching was incredible. I got a sample of the new formula, but I have not narrowed down a shade. Such a shame please bring this back!

I periodically try new foundation that's come onto the market, but have found HD to still be the best coverage without feeling heavy and since I'm an older woman, doesn't dry my skin... Looks dewy.

Not even close
Color recommended from the previous formula is far too red and oxidizes. This formula is very drying and shows every line. Trying the new formula that was just released and hope that works out. Overall disappointing

The new Balancing & Perfecting Foundation has a much more balanced range including more neutral and cool tones!
Bad reformulation
Please, bring back the old formula! Very disappointed. MF HD Ultra was the best foundation I had ever used. The new version is just one of dozens of products.
