I agree with everyone that it is very thin, but that is a plus for me as I sleep very hot. The comments about shedding are not exagerated.....I have washed it twice and the lint trap was overflowing each time and it still has a lot of fuzzies, but it is getting better. It is very pretty, but be prepared to put in some work.

Truly beautiful - I knew it was a lighter weight from other reviews and it’s exactly what I expected. It had a little yellow stain beside the label so I had to return for an exchange- but Macy’s was beyond helpful in making it an easy transaction.

Beautiful. Lightweight and easy to take off at night. I know it will shed, as chenille always does, but it will last a long time.

low quality...fuzz everywhere after washing & drying. Filled up dryer filter and beyond. It came in a good size tho.

This is a very beautiful bedspread. really soft, good material but really thin. It's more decorative than to actually use as a blanket ... The quality is also very good but again more decorative can't use it to cover yourself More of something you can put over a comforter .

This is a beauty!
This bedspread is prettier than I expected! I’ve always loved chenille because it reminds me of the bedspreads I used to see when I was a child and were so soft and beautiful. The “carved” look of the design in this one was so interesting that I had to try it out! I was a little concerned that it might be too heavy for this time of year heading into warmer months, but it is surprisingly lightweight which is perfect. It is very long and hits the floor on both sides of the bed again giving it that vintage bedspread feel that makes the room look very neat. One last thing - I was concerned about shedding since I have a dark carpet, so I washed it prior to using and happily have very little shedding at all. Love this one!
