Love!

I needed to find a lighter weight blanket for these hotter summer nights. I was using a tight woven cotton blanket but it still was too warm. I had seen various posts about cotton muslin blankets being so light weight and breathable so decided to give it a try. I washed them first and they washed well/still soft and so far I find them so much cooler than my previous blanket. Because I have pets, I have been careful to not allow them to have access to the blanket because I don’t want their claws to pull the fibers.

Gauze blanket

Single layer of gauze cotton. Soft but not adequate as a summer blanket layer- more like a second sheet!

Lovely, soft summer cover

I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase! Once I threw it in the wash, it fluffed up so nicely. It’s so soft and lightweight. It’s just like a baby blanket that she would swaddle an infant in. It is the coolest blanket. My husband is very happy because he’s a very hot sleeper and it’s just enough for me. I use it over my Sheex cooling sheets and I am sleeping very cooling on these warm summer California nights.
