Beautiful finish, but it never sets

This foundation looks absolutely beautiful when first applied. It’s lightweight, natural and gives my skin a gorgeous healthy glow without looking heavy or overly made up. Unfortunately, for me, the wear is extremely disappointing. The foundation never seems to fully set on my skin. Even hours after application, if I touch or lightly scratch my face, the makeup moves immediately and leaves a visible mark or indentation where I touched it. It feels as though the foundation remains sitting on the surface of my skin rather than setting into place. I really wanted to love this because the finish is exactly what I’ve been looking for, and my skin looks fabulous when I first put it on. But a foundation needs to stay put during normal everyday wear, and this simply doesn’t for me. For the price, I expected much better longevity and transfer resistance. Two stars because the initial appearance is beautiful, but the lack of staying power makes it impractical for me.
