I agree with other reviews saying this bedskirt is cheap. The part that goes under the mattress is a very cheap material that will rip easily. When I went to iron it, there was already a tear. The skirt material is also very cheap, and see-through. I’m keeping it because there aren’t many choices for bed skirts for a full size bed, and I just need it for a guest bed that won’t be used often. I would definitely never try to put this in the washing machine. It would probably disintegrate.

I will never buy Laura Ashley products again. They look nice from a distance but are so thin and cheaply made for the price. The double/ queen-size comforter doesn't fit properly on a queen bed, it's too narrow. The bed ruffle ripped while putting it on my mattress, and there is a seam clearly visible where there shouldn't be. Since it ripped while installing, I would like to return, but I'm sure I can't. I like Macy's, but stay away from this brand if you want good quality. You can't iron out the creases (and there are lots of them by the way they are packaged) even with a cool iron, you will put a hole in the fabric by barely touching a cool iron to it. Very unhappy with this purchase.
cheaply made
I expected better quality from Laura Ashley. The skirt matches the comforter set I purchased last year. It arrived quickly. The center of the bed skirt is a cheap paper-like material, NOT FABRIC. At this price point and brand, I expected better quality. I don't have high hopes for it lasting very long.
