He loves them!

I bought 2 pair of these pants for my husband. He loves them! He claims the pants are roomy, comfortable to wear and the pockets hold many items.

BEWARE: Size and fabric inconsistency

Ordered 2 pair, size "L," different colors, at same time: they turned out to be very different. Gray heather arrived first - classic soft jersey fabric, says "Made in Viet Nam," big on me (even after wash/dry on max hot), very long drawstring, leg inseam 30" (a little too long for me). Black pair delayed, fabric thinner, smoother, almost stiff (even after wash), says "Made in Cambodia," almost tight on me, very short drawstring, inseam 29" (just right for me). Seems odd: so much variability in two of the very same item -- ? issue with production quality control? Unlikely to order again because can't rely on exactly what will arrive.

Used to be Great

I have purchased these pants for over two decades. They have had everything I wanted: open side pockets, pull-ties, a buttoned back pocket, no elastic cuff, 100% cotton, and the color choices I want. That said, they have ruined them by decreasing the fabric count so much that they now become baggy in a few days of wear and they aren't warm in winter. I don't know why they decided to do this because I am willing to pay for quality. I won't be buying them anymore.

Not for summer

Pants are fine, but way too heavy for what I was looking for my dad. Not summer material.
