Most Underrated Product

I truly believe the Micro Peel is one of La Mer's most underrated products. I have very sensitive skin however the micro peel is incredibly gentle, which allows even someone like me to use it almost every night immediately after cleansing. It's very effective in accelerating cell turnover, and somehow makes your skin feel more hydrated and nourished while doing so. It's also one of the products that lasts the longest (I'm barely halfway through the bottle and I purchased this about 4 months ago). I can see and feel a difference not only after applying the micro peel itself, but how much more of a "punch" the subsequent La Mer products seem to give when applying them after allowing the micro peel to sit for a few minutes. It's as if the micro peel has an amplifying effect because my skin seems to soak up the products that I apply after it even more, leaving more noticeable results with the regenerating serum and the concentrate. I'm newer to La Mer but have used so many products so far as I'm hooked, however the micro peel is the one product I felt I needed to leave a review on.

Glow ritual

The Micro Peel will gently exfoliate your skin overnight leaving your face glowing and hydrated. Highly recommend along with La Crème DeLa Mer and the face oil. Love the results. The bottle will last for a very long time since you do not need to put much on. Great investment.

Skin Felt Like it Was Burning - Uncomfortable

I received a sample of this, and thought I would give it a try. It was pleasant to apply, but immediately felt like my skin was burning/someone was holding a heat source to my skin. I lasted about three hours and had to completely wash it off and apply moisturizer (I opted for the Night Recovery Complex, which is amazing!). Even though I washed it off and applied a protective moisturizing agent, my skin still feels sensitive/burnt. I do not recommend.

Sad to be the defiant voice

I was excited about this product, but. I followed the instructions, applied it at night, and in the morning my skin felt no different from when I only use The Treatment Lotion followed by the night cream. Tried it every other night for two weeks and felt no change at all. The product, even after shaking, feels quite watery (very similar to The Treatment Lotion), and I can only get about 1/4" of liquid into the tube. So I have to keep putting the lid on, shaking, and then using the dropper, until I get enough to do my whole face (usually three pumps). One thing I did like is that I don't *really* feel the need for the night cream afterwards. My skin is not tight and dry, like it usually is without a moisturizer. But I won't repeat this product.

Works for Sensitive Skin

Love this product. It’s a direct path to a balanced and even skin tone for sensitive skin. Apply at bedtime prior to Crème de la Mer to wake to a radiant and rejuvenated complexion. Highly recommend.
