Not Impressed

While I was blown away by the sound on my Flexus Core 100 Sound Bar, my new Flexus Surround 100 speakers, did not really impress me? I assumed they would have at minimum, the same sound level as the sound bar, they do not. Wish they were more powerful.

From Definitive Technology to Flexus

Replacing a Definitive Technology sound bar and sub system. Which was phenomenal. However, the sun started cutting out and pulled the trigger on the surr 200. I was impressed with the 200's richness and fullness across the frequencies. The built in subs produce clean and subtle bass. Mid range drivers offer clear sound and voice. Tweeters pick up high notes exceptionally well. I thought my Definitive Technology System was high end. But the flexus clearly is superior in sound.

Go for it!

Sadly, the first set I ordered had a weak amplifier system. It’s just been a couple of days with the new set and they are clear and dynamic with movies. I’m not able to get much of an addition to the sound when it comes to listening to music yet. Maybe there’s a break-in. I am hopeful it’s going to be a good addition to a fantastic flex 200 sound bar and a RSL woofer that I’m using with it.

New purchase

Although I can hear them when I’m close, I have not played enough content to decide if they make a difference in my movie watching experience. As far as functionality, so far so good. Everything works as it should and connected promptly. I’m withholding a star until I’ve experienced more content with surround

necessary. sounds great.

Some of my music from youtube is encoded in atmos and the speakers add a new dimension. I didn't get these with my soundbar at first but I am glad I did later. Totally worth it.
