Capture Claw Set -will capture a child’s interest!

My son was thrilled with the Jurassic World Capture Claw ATV Pack! It is a very detailed set with extra fun and engaging features that work well, and he had so much fun playing with it. The set includes a human figure, an ATV with a capture claw, and an Ekrixinatosaurus dinosaur. At the outset my son was probably most excited about the human figure (a mercenary looking guy), because it is a new figure not seen before. The figure has a bunch of awesome tiny details, from the intricate texture of his pants “fabric” and tops of his gloves, to the long laces of his tall boots. His eyes were painted expertly, each with a precise blue iris with center pupil and even whites of the eyes! Impressive for such a small face. He has a removable helmet, which is another very fun touch. He also has a small weapon, which both of his hands are able to easily hold. Very well made on those details. His legs are positionable to have him sit on the ATV, but one leg seemed a little stiffer than the other, so my son was careful handling him. The ATV ended up stealing the show, however, due to its details and engaging action features. My son was so pleased that the ATV included a pullback feature to allow it to accelerate forward on its own. He was very impressed at how well the action feature worked whereby the seat flips up, whenever the front bumper is pressed (ejecting the ATV driver off the vehicle). It made for very fun different action play scenarios over and over - if the dinosaur “headbutts” or rams the front bumper, the seated ATV driver gets thrown off entirely. The ATV itself has a hidden bit of weight to it, probably to offset not being toppled over when the capture claw feature is holding a dinosaur’s leg. My son was particularly happy that the claw feature is removable. He happens to like the more standard look of the ATV without the claw, so he was happy it wasn’t a permanent feature, but instead is a play option. I will say the claw feature itself works well (almost too well - I pinched my own finger in it), as the spring hinge snaps shut powerfully when engaged. Lastly, the Ekrixinatosaurus dinosaur (who looks fairly similar to a Carnotaurus) figure included has nice details to its skin texture, and feels a bit heavier in hand than you might think it would be. I thought my son might feel the colors of the dinosaur were too drab for his liking, but he actually liked it a lot - he said it’s nice to have a figure with what might be more realistic colors than some others that are often highly colorful. Overall he was very complimentary of the ATV seat ejecting feature and how well it worked, he loved all the details on the human figure and ATV itself (he also loved that the ATV included a small slot that can hold the tiny weapon), and he had a great time playing with this set. Would highly recommend making it a part of anyone’s Jurassic World toy collection, or to anyone who loves a fun and engaging toy set. This was enjoyed so much!
