nice couch but a few defects
Got the couch on time and it was easy to put together. its stiff but what would you expect from a couch thats not broken in yet? after having it for a month its getting squishier. One of the back cushions tore a week after using it and the zipper on another keeps coming undone, like the zip splits so i have to move the zipper all the way back and then re-zip it. I reached out to customer service to see if I could get two replacement cushions because of the 30 day warranty and they said that they’d have to send a person to my house to look at it and then take photos, and then said after that it could take up to 60 days for the replacements to come in before its actually shipped to us, and the soonest they could get someone over was in 2 months. That really ticked me off. Its a cushion tear, I didnt need the entire couch replaced, and I didnt want to wait 4 months to get a replacement. I sewed it myself. Couch is fine otherwise, but if you have issues it’s annoying to deal with macys.
It has been great!
Was surprised to see so many reviews claiming it is hard/uncomfortable. I've had this couch for over three years and it's been quite comfortable. Sometimes I prefer sleeping in it over my bed! The only downside is it has become a bit creaky in certain spots, which is a little annoying but not a dealbreaker by any means.
If you have pets DO NOT PURCHASE
This is a beautiful couch, BUT it’s super disappointing if you have dogs - do not pursue. I’ve never seen anything like it, the dog hair literally clings to the upholstery. Shame on you Macys, you should have tested this - having a pet is a super common variable for most.
I do not recommend the Jollene Fabric sofa
The only positive thing I can say about this sofa is that the frame feels very solid and well-built. Unfortunately, everything else has been a major disappointment. The fabric is one of the worst upholstery materials I've ever experienced. It gets extremely hot after sitting on it for a short time, making it very uncomfortable, especially during warmer months. It also feels itchy against the skin, which makes relaxing on the sofa unpleasant. I also strongly recommend against purchasing Macy's protection plan for this sofa. The warranty was heavily promoted as covering accidental damage, including pet damage, which was the main reason I purchased it. However, when my cat recently scratched the sides of the sofa, my claim was denied. That completely defeated the purpose of buying the protection plan. Between the expensive sofa and the costly warranty that didn't provide the coverage I was led to expect, I feel this purchase was not worth the money.
LOVE this couch
This couch has lasted us for 5 years, we love it and its so comfortable!
