Cloud Comfort That Laughs at Miami Rain
I absolutely love my XC4 Parker Plain Toe shoes from Johnston & Murphy. From the first time I wore them, the comfort was unreal. The XC FOAM® footbed and midsole feel like walking on clouds—light, cushioned, and supportive all day long. The XC FIT™ design really makes a difference too, especially around the tongue, heel, and arch where you usually feel pressure in dress shoes. Living in Miami, where sudden rain showers are just part of life, the waterproof leather and seam-sealed construction have been a game-changer. I’ve walked through puddles and soggy sidewalks without worrying about wet socks, and the shoes still look sleek and professional. The slip-resistant rubber sole also gives me confidence on slick pavement. On top of all that, the plain-toe silhouette looks sharp with both suits and business-casual outfits. My first J&M shoe was an Upton. Good. Now have three XC4's. I rotate them for work. Old guy here I wear compression socks and J&M shoes to get through the day.

Looks good, fits bad
I ordered the 11 1/2 wide. I normally take between 11 and 11 1/2 wide. It was extremely tight with and the length was almost as if it was a size 13 or 14. Completely did not fit and had to return. The overall look was good however.
