I am in retail and in my feet 7-8 hours a day, when I get home I leave them on while I cook because they are just that comfortable! My pair is about 14 months old and likely 1600’s of walking and I am just starting to notice some wear of the insoles… so time for a new pair! Little wear on the soles and the leather has held up flawlessly. I just hit it with polish or mink oil every once in a while.

Great Casual Shoe!
Love the casual style that still works in the office! Really like the Nubuck look. A great shoe!

Premature wear and poor breathability
First poor review of a J&M product. After 10 months of ownership, I have to give it one star for two primary reasons. 1. They do not breath whatsoever. Not sure if it is leather but ultimately it is a sweat box. 2. Gluing of the sole has commenced to pull away on the sides and the bottom, which appears to be a crack. Considering my shoe collection, these have not been worn extensively which adds to the disappointment for the premature wear and performance.

Bring Back Blue
I really like the McGuffey but I’m so disappointed that it’s no longer available in the blue leather. My current pair is worn out.

Fit and comfort are good. True to size. Much darker and more of a solid brown than in the picture.
