Quality is poor

The bottle holders ripped. Had it repaired. And it ripped again. Very poor quality. This was a replacement of a 15 year old bag that I loved.

Bag for the minimalist traveler

I had a previous version of this bag that I took around the world while in the Navy. Based on that success I'm looking forward to putting this bag to the test.

Best backpack there is!

Have had this backpack for 4 years now. Still in perfect condition. Perfect amount of pockets, love the padded laptop area. The straps keep it secure if your hiking or biking. If anything happens to mine I will be buying another.

I wouldn't buy the JanSport odyssey backpack again

The JanSport name is sewn on but painted on the bag. The quality was very poor. I have returned the backpack.

Great large size

The large size is great. Fits a large laptop, several binders plus all my son's school accessories. Good padding for a comfortable fit, since his stuff is heavy.

Not what it was...

I bought this for my son. The body of the bag is resilient, but the water bottle holders are cheap, virtually useless. I am disappointed, as I had one of these years ago, that lasted longer.
