Below average quality

Below average quality. Deteriorates with sun and leaves a lot of plastic particules in skimmer.. Also company difficult to reach and often does not respond to emails.

material is delicate. just make sure you cover it

This solar cover came with the XTR 18'x9'x52" pool package. It only lasted for 1 season. Probably my issue wasbecause it was not covered underneath the actual pool cover that it began to disintegrate from the sun.

Prevents evaporation

This pool cover does a great job at keeping debris out of the pool. Also helps prevent evaporation. The strategically paced holes in the cover allows for water on top of the cover to drain so the cover stays put during rainy or windy weather. I have not yet tested the temperature difference in the water with and without the cover since I was mainly using the cover to keep out debris and prevent evaporation. It is lighter weight and easier to handle that other pool covers.
