Very pleased

I’m very happy with these somewhat hefty cutting boards. I’ve bought thinner ones from another major online retailer, but I appreciate the thickness and solidity of these. They’re also more attractive than others I’ve seen. And I got them at a great Macy’s price. My one small caveat: they say dishwasher safe, but hand washing recommended. Why? Is it due to the colored edges? I’d definitely give up colored edges for fully dishwasher-able.

The best cutting boards, plastic or wood, are meant to have cuts in them to protect your knife blades edge. We suggest cleaning your boards after each use with soapy water and then disinfecting the boards with White Vinegar and Water. However, if your boards are well used, perhaps it’s time to purchase new ones. All our plastic cutting boards are BPA free.
