Beautiful versatile duffel

Purchased this duffel in grey, love the look & versatility. Perfect for weekend trips. I concur w/other reviewers / photos, the handle did start to fray, yet mine isn’t that bad & easily remedied w/ sharp scissors. The bag has been durable other than the handle fray. Considering the great price I paid on Sale, very worth it, considering purchasing the companion herringbone rolling carry-on.

Great carryon

Finally found a great small carryon. It’s light weight and travels with ease through the airport on the four wheels. It’s small enough to fit under the seat and I found it very easy to place in the overhead bin. It has a padded interior pocket for an iPad or small laptop. It’s also great looking.

No Lock instructions!

The carry on came on time and within budget! Good job Macy's on the shipping updates. HOWEVER, there were no instructions on how to set the combination lock! So I'm docking them a star for that! I have other luggage locks, but the lock in question has Hartmann written on, which is an extra quality perk that I can't take advantage of.

Weekend Duffel

Added this after returning from a European trip and finding out my other duffel was very unwieldy - it kept falling off the top of my rollaway as I traveled through bumpy terrain, etc. This one complements my growing collection of Hartmann luggage and has that critical wide band on the side which allows you to slip the duffel over the handle of a larger rolling suitcase to keep it in place.
