ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

The Apex Hybrid Ceramic Nonstick 8-inch skillet from GreenPan is, without a doubt, the worst pan I have ever purchased. I am extremely disappointed with it and honestly regret buying not just one, but two of them. Everything sticks to this pan. The nonstick coating is absolutely terrible and does not perform as expected. I have never been this frustrated with a supposedly “nonstick” pan. It completely defeats the purpose of buying a nonstick skillet in the first place. I wish I had returned them, but unfortunately, I waited too long to actually use them. By the time I realized how horrible they were, it was too late to return them. That is especially frustrating because I ended up spending money on two pans that I now deeply regret purchasing. At this point, I am seriously considering throwing both pans in the garbage because I have absolutely no confidence in using them anymore. It is incredibly frustrating to spend money on something that is supposed to make cooking easier.

We are very sorry to hear about the issues with your cookware. This issue can be easily resolved! It is likely that you may have a layer of carbonized oil built up on your pan that will create a barrier between the pan and your food. When this happens, you are basically cooking on the layer of oil as opposed to the surface of the pan. This layer may not be visible. This cleaning method has proven to be extremely successful and can be used when you notice staining and/or sticking. For the best results, please try this method twice. Once complete, you may resume normal washing with soap and sponge. Fill the pan halfway with water and bring to a simmer/near boil for about 2 minutes. Pour out the water and place the pan on a sturdy surface such as a wooden cutting board. Carefully use a wet Melamine sponge on the warm surface to wipe away any excess oil or food; this should do the trick. If this does not work, please email GreenPan directly at customercare.us@greenpan.com. They are happy to help!

Great Size

This pan is a great size for one or two people. Also easy cleanup. I always hand wash pots and pans so cannot comment about using the dishwasher.

Mighty little pan!

I can make a whole meal in different steps with this pan. Browns chicken perfectly, then the vegetables and I finish cooking some pasta adding everything together at the end. And it is only an 8 inch pan! I have been using it a lot lately and I am very happy with it. I just leave some hot soapy water on it after use and it cleans it perfectly.
