LOVE THE BOOTS - THE SIZE WAS TOUGH

I was so excited to get these boots! They are gorgeous in person. However after reading sooo many reviews on the sizing (I'm usually between an 8-8. 5) I ordered the 8. They were very snug - tight on my heels and just didn't fit how I'd hoped. I'm exchanging them for the 8. 5 for more comfort and know the leather will stretch a bit when worn a few times. I have a pair of Tecovas Annie's and got the 7. 5 in those so was hoping they'd be similar to that given the reviews of them being a bit big. So - just know they fit different on everyone! If you can can, order 2 different sizes to try and compare if you don't have a store near you like me.

I've been enjoying Frye boots

I've been enjoying Frye boots lately because they fit my slim calves pretty well. There's definitely room for other size calves, but I like that these do not drown out my legs. The new Navy color is so pretty! It's a great neutral. These are not 10/10 for comfort, maybe 8/10. I will try to put in thin inserts. I am a 6. 5-7, I wear a 7 in Frye. I've got a bit of room, just a little. These are extremely beautiful and well made.

I bought these in garnet

I bought these in garnet a half size up from my normal size. They were gorgeous and they fit great. BUT they were clonky and loudly slapped the back of my calves when I walked and no sock situation would fix it. I sadly sent them back. I’m petite but I don’t think I have really small calves but maybe I need a narrow calf edition? Idk. They were really nice in garnet.
