Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify for future shoppers that this pillow is filled with 100 percent certified RDS white down, which is a natural organic material. Because natural down is a breathable animal product, and is sealed in professional packaging for transit, it can occasionally retain a slight natural scent upon opening.
To resolve this, we recommend placing the pillow in the dryer on low heat for a few minutes with a dryer ball or clean tennis ball. This allows the down to fully loft and provides fresh air circulation to dissipate any natural scent trapped during shipping. Because this is a natural White Down product, it provides a very soft, compressible feel rather than a firm or high-profile support. If you are a side or back sleeper or simply prefer a much fuller pillow, our soft density stomach sleeper will likely feel "too flat." For those sleeping positions, we recommend exploring our medium or firm density down pillows to ensure you have the correct level of support.
