Electro-VoiceRE20 Microphone, Broadcast Arm, ShokMount, 15' XLR Cable

When it comes to professional audio recording and broadcasting, the Electro-Voice RE20 Variable-D Dynamic Cardioid Microphone stands out as a top-tier choice. This dynamic cardioid microphone is specifically designed for applications that demand a flat response across a broad frequency range. Its wide frequency response and superior transient response place the RE20 on par with the best condenser cardioid microphones in the market. The RE20 features an easily accessible "bass tilt down" switch, which adjusts the spectrum balance for long-reach situations or any application where bass attenuation is required. As a true cardioid microphone, the RE20 provides maximum rejection at 180 degrees off-axis, ensuring minimal off-axis coloration and optimal rejection of unwanted sounds. One of the standout features of the RE20 is its integral blast and wind filter, which covers each acoustic opening. This allows singers to "close talk" the microphone without worrying about "P-pops" or excessive sibilance. This filter also serves to shock mount the internal microphone element, reducing the transfer of vibrations from external sources. The RE20's exceptional performance is powered by a large Acoustalloy diaphragm and an incredibly low-mass aluminum voice coil. This combination allows the microphone to reproduce extremely high sound pressure levels without the risk of overload and distortion, a common issue with phantom-powered condensers. Even in high humidity and elevated temperatures, the RE20 continues to perform flawlessly, outperforming many competitive condenser microphones.Housed in a robust steel casing and equipped with an effective hum-bucking coil, the RE20 offers resistance to magnetically induced hum and noise. This makes it a reliable choice for situations where other microphones might succumb to unacceptable levels of hum and buzz. Whether you're recording in a studio or performing live on stage, the Electro-Voice RE20 Variable-D Dynamic Cardioid Microphone delivers consistent, high-quality sound..
