Dyson v15 detect

This is my second v15. Still have the first. I have 3 dogs and 2600 square feet. I have one for the basement and one for upstairs. This vacuum is the best I’ve ever had! Period. It gets hair, dirt and dust, you didn’t even know that you had! It’s easy to use, The digital technology is second to none, and it’s easy to empty the canister. I love it! The only inconvenience is the battery life… but the vacuum works so well, that it doesn’t need a lot of run time. My old vacuum was a Oreck, and as much as I thought it was a good one, the Dyson blows it away! This vacuum is a total recommend!

If it is not broken dont fix it

Heavier than my previous one. A bit harder to clean/empty the dirt canister maybe because of the new set up.

Wobbly connection

I purchased this 3 weeks ago, as my old Dyson needed replacement. I love that it is cordless, easy to use and change attachments. However, I am a little disappointed at the suction power and where the tube connects to the main part is wobbly! Is this normal?

Addicting

I bought this vacuum about 2 weeks ago and OMG I am addicted! The green light shows you all of the dog hair, dust and dirt! So much so that even when you don’t see it, you know it’s there and want to vacuum it away. The suction is amazing! I moved into a house that is 15 yrs old and I swear I am getting 15yrs worth of dander out of the carpets. I definitely recommend this vacuum to anyone with pets. All of the accessories have been used and do an amazing job.

Not good for carpeting

I'm still trying to see if it will work for me. One reason I purchased this was to vacuum under my bed. I have carpeting in my bedroom, but not a deep pile. The head of the vacuum is getting stuck on the carpeting and I'm not able to push it. It eventually turns the vacuum off. I turn it back on and start trying on the carpeting, only to go thru the same thing. I've changed the attachments and none of them work. This happens several times and I finally gave up because it hurts my arms to try to push it. I mostly use this for hard wood and ceramic tile but was hoping to use it occasionally on carpet under my bed. It's not great for carpet. It's also heavier than I thought carrying the battery in the handle.
