Love the way it lights up when dispensing so that you can see the level of coffee3in even dark cups. Love how easy to know how much coffee is in the reservoir with the Full to Empty - just like a gas tank - analog style gauge

Cuisinart Excellence

I previously owned a Hamilton Beach coffee maker similar in design to the Cuisinart. The Cuisinart is 10 times better. I particularly like the gage which shows the amount of coffee left in the tank and the light which turns on when you are getting a cup of coffee.

Its redeeming feature is no carafe

This coffee maker is probably the 12th one I've bought because if it lasts over 2 years, it's an actual miracle. Our last one lasted 2 1/2 years though! I keep buying the same (eventually defective) model because I really hate carafes - the glass receptacles, pots, that keep cooking the coffee until a burnt smell emanates through the rooms of one's house. The only other carafeless coffee maker is a Hamilton Beach, which I've bought, but it's actually worse than this brand and model. I've only had our new Cuisinart pot a little over a month and it's already leaking water. I'll have to return it for another one this coming week. At least this model has a 3-year warranty now! I always cleaned it every 3 months according to its directions. This model leaks water, coffee, or both when the cheap plastic parts begin to stick or wear. You simply wake up one morning to find your floor covered in a pond of either water or coffee - all of it! The correct term is "Planned Obsolescence". I keep buying it because, as I said, I hate carafes (and also the pods).

Great Coffee Maker, but Two Issues Need Attention

Cuisinart Coffee Maker – Works Great, but a Couple of Issues Need Attention I received my new Cuisinart coffee maker on August 15, 2026, and after using it for several weeks, I wanted to share my experience. Overall, the coffee maker works very well and performs as I expected based on the many Cuisinart products I have purchased over the years. I have generally been very satisfied with Cuisinart’s products, and this coffee maker is no exception when it comes to brewing coffee. However, I have encountered two issues that I believe Cuisinart should address: 1. Auto-Off Setting Is Lost When Power Is Interrupted This is the most significant issue I have encountered. Whenever there is a power interruption, the clock must be reset, but the Auto-Off setting must also be reset. I live in Florida, where occasional power outages are not unusual. I did not realize that the Auto-Off setting had been reset following a power interruption until I discovered that the coffee remaining in the pot was only lukewarm after approximately three hours. I normally have the Auto-Off feature set for four hours. It would be much more convenient if the Auto-Off setting were retained after a power interruption, or if there were some indication that the setting had been reset. Having to remember to reprogram this feature after every power outage is inconvenient and could easily go unnoticed. 2. Coffee Level Indicator Is Not Accurate The remaining coffee level indicator also does not appear to accurately reflect the amount of coffee left in the carafe. Even when the carafe is completely full, the indicator only registers approximately 3/4 full. As the coffee is consumed, the indicator drops rather quickly. When the gauge indicates that the carafe is empty, I typically still have approximately three cups of coffee remaining. While this does not affect the operation of the coffee maker, it makes the level indicator unreliable and limits its usefulness. Overall Despite these two issues, I am pleased with the coffee maker and it produces excellent coffee. These problems do not prevent me from using the machine, but they are important shortcomings that I hope Cuisinart will address in future models. I would still recommend the coffee maker, but potential buyers should be aware of these two issues—particularly the need to reset the Auto-Off feature following a power interruption.

Love my coffee maker

So happy I found this coffee maker. I didn’t want a carafe or a Keurig. I got the best of both worlds. 12 cup coffee maker with a dispenser. Absolutely love it.

Well worthwhile.

So glad to see this coffeemaker back. Over the years had 3 of them and then Cuisine seemed to stop making them. Convenient to use, coffee always hot, easy to clean. Best coffeemaker for real coffee lovers.
