These placemats hit the mark with practicality, beauty and quality. They are worth every penny. Simply wipe them with a damp cloth and you will enjoy them for years.

Love these placemats.
Beautiful placemats. Only problem is they came folded in half in an envelope and crease is difficult to remove. Thinking of bringing them to a store to exchange.

Elegant and practical
Elegant and practical, beautiful and easy to clean. It's the perfect foundation for a more formal place setting. As with my past Chilewich purchases, I expect to get many years of use from these placemats.

Chilewich mats are the BEST!
Absolutely love my new place mats. I have used my current Chilewich mats everyday for the past 5 yrs and they still look new. I ordered new ones to match my new dining table. They can be wiped clean so perfect for daily use but look elegant enough for dinner party.

Beautiful and functional
High end look but can be used and cleaned

Mesh allows liquids to seem through.
It's a mesh so anything that spills goes onto the table. Wine can ruin the wood finish of the table if the spill isn't caught quick enough.

Nice placemats
I like the ombre color transition. Like other reviewers, mine arrived with a crease in them that was not the look I wanted, but the crease came out fairly easily over time as long as I put a plate or other flat object on it. More importantly, it stays in place while we're eating and so does the job well.
