Smelly when opened

I really like this comforter, it's a little heavier than my previous one. Beware that the comforter smells - a perfumy smell that I can't stand personally. I Googled it and manufacturers spray smelly chemicals on it to prevent mold. So I washed it, dried it, put it out in the sun and used charcoal bags to get rid of the smell. Finally, I can live with it. The same goes for the shams.

Great summer bedspread

I love the crisp contrast of blue and white. This fabric is cool and not too heavy for use on our beds in the summer. It is well constructed. It was a good value at full price, I was delighted when it went on sale within days of my purchase so I could get the discounted price.
