Great printer for the money.

I had this printer for at least 6 years and it's done well. I recently replaced it with an identical one because I broke it trying to clear a paper jam before reading the instructions on how to easily do that...

Junk printer

I would highly recommend that you DO NOT purchase this printer. It is terrible quality. Only works part of the time. I spend more time not being able to get it working then actually printing. I will not be buying another Canon product. Highly dissatisfied with this printer and its functions

Hard To Use, Hard to Love

Non-intuitive operation. My old Canon MP495 was straightforward. It just giggle-beeps at me when I try to make copies. I have to scan the document, save a file, then print it out. Also, the scanning tool overwrites the last file copied. The old MP Pixma scan tool saved files in a folder with the current date and gave you the opportunity to name the file BEFORE you scan the document. I could use some instructions, but none come with this one, unless you hunt like a mad man online for them. Paper always sounds like it is being crinkled when it feeds through. On the plus, it auto-collates my documents, so I don't have to do so manually.
