I would by this little gem again and again

I owned a previous version of this vacuum which I truly loved then. In haste, we purchased a different BIssell, while good just not for what we needed. Went back and purchased this particular vacuum and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT even more than before. It's so smooth and quieter than ever before. The ability to keep up with 3 labs! 90lbs, 80lbs, and 75lbs. The light is great as it shows the dirt and hair that needs to be picked up and then POOF it's gone! While I never used it before, I am truly realizing the little gem of the small brush and crevice tool with a light! Game changer on the baseboards. It's feels overall lighter, smoother, and quieter. Highly recommend. I've had Dysons and other Bissell vacuums - this one is my favorite by far.

I would not buy this vacuum

Vacuum works well, about the same as my cheaper powerforce helix. The Surfacesense is very bulky, and the wheels squeak pretty loud within the first week. Also the cord is too short in length, I’m having to constantly unplug it and move to a different outlet. Also I don’t like that you can’t adjust the suspension like the powerforce. I feel like a lot of dirt and debris is left in the carpet because it can’t get low enough. Overall, I do not like it and will probably return it.

DO NOT BUY

I do NOT recommend this vacuum. The hose broke a couple years in. Luckily, warranty was still active and was able to replace it for free. A year later the hose broke at the base again. I don't even use the attachments often so it't not like I am excessively pulling on the hose. Second Bissell and neither lasted 3 years. In general would not recommend this brand.

Just what i needed!

This vacuum does everything i need ! Rugs, carpet, hardwood all automatic! Changes with each surface. Easy empty cup also. And accessory tools.l love it

Excellent Pet Vacuum!

Ordered this vacuum after our last one broke. It got our carpet and rugs cleaner than we've been able to in a long time. We have a dog with a double coat, and this did a great job pulling up fur out of the carpet and hardwood floor. Very impressed with the suction, filtration, and ability for it to get into tight corners. Would recommend for anyone with pets needing a new vacuum!

Unacceptable

Within ine week the roller brush stopped working. I had to take it apart and clean out the roller and put it back together. I never had this problem with my Dyson. I only bought this because i had a $60 credit to Bissell because of a recall with a different Bissell product.

Terrible

I thought I was making a good choice when replacing my vacuum after we got a double coated dog. I spend more time clearing tangles and clogs than actually cleaning. It doesn’t keep its suction and basic crumbs remain. It’s terrible. I spent more on this vacuum after extensive research. It’s too late to return it. Terrible mislead.
