Decently made, but still a few issues
During the assembly of the pergola I ran into a few issues:1) I had 2 rivet nuts spin loose and I had to drill them out and use a locknut and washer on the backside. Be careful not to overtighten the screws. 2) One of the vision panels had a couple spots distorted from improper molding. Not an actual hole, but more of a cosmetic blemish. I should really ask for a warranty on that part. In order to install vision panel you need to slide seal down as you slide panel up because the panel will have a tendacy to drag the seal along and be short at the end. 3) My biggest grip is the height dimension is wrong. Website lists 8 feet, but is 8 feet 2 1/2 inches. Might not sound like a big deal, but mine wouldn't fit under my roof eave. I had to cut the legs down 3 1/2 inches and redrill mounting holes. Not a huge deal, but annoying. 4) The entire structure is not stable until you attach the legs and back wall brackets. You will need to temporarily prop it up until then. I decided to make (2) diagonal braces out of 3/4" emt conduit and M6 bolts 1/1/2" length to stiffen the legs; 55" long with 1/4" holes at 51 3/4" spacing will fit the spare rivet nuts at the rear and front legs. Overall, I will say the enclosure finish, hardware, and material is pretty good; aluminum frame with SS hardware. I think it should last a while except for the vision panel. Only time will tell.
