Just what I wanted

This machine does exactly what I wanted it to and more. It's easy to thread and easy to use. I've watched the videos for additional uses like the ruffler and hemming and can't wait to try those techniques out. Meanwhile, knowing that the items I make have finished seams makes me very happy

Take your serger out of the closet!

I bought this serger over 10 years ago, and out of fear it’s been hiding in my closet! I finally took it out last month and watched instructional videos online. To my surprise I had very little difficulty threading the serger! Not only is it easy but super fun. I love making flannel pjs and with the serger it’s so fast. I’m serging a cute knit dress right now. The Brother 1034D is fun, easy, fast, and makes your sewing look professional. Don’t hesitate to purchase it. I’m 58 and if I can do it, anyone can! I loved it so much I bought the Brother Coverstitch machine too—for professional knit hems!

Simple and a Good Value

I have another serger but it takes about an hour to get it threaded. I wanted seams that look clean and professional so I decided to try th 1034D. It is a very simple machine to thread and use. It does every thing I need it to do. Love ir!

PLEASED New user

Although i am a new user i have noticed the machine seems to be a little hesitant at start-up. Maybe fur to type motor not certain.otger than that works great.
