Second time seems to be the charm
I ordered this Insta360 X5 ahead of our trip to the British Virgin Islands, hoping I could get some video while snorkeling (you also need a dive case, btw). I got it all updated and ready and then as we were headed to the boat it suddenly became totally unresponsive. I tried everything and nothing worked. Insta360 service was helpful and eventually had me send it back to them to get checked out. They ended up sending me a refurbished replacement one because mine was toast, apparently. I never was able to use it at all, other than the one minute video in our hotel room as a test. Anyway, several weeks later, I now have my replacement and best I can tell - I haven't had time to test it proper yet - it seems to work. It at least turns on, so that's better than what I had before.
